He knows the ground around Ipswich — Lowood, Raceview and Rosewood — and through North Brisbane and the Toowoomba region. Different material in each, and he knows how to place it inside tolerance, with the right amount of water and rolling to hit optimum compaction.
The crew knows what to bring and gets it there without spare machines sitting around. Excavators, Moxys and dozers are on hand, so big volumes can be shifted inside a tight timeframe.
